The first day of spring came and went, and if you have lived in the Antelope Valley for even one year, you will find that the spring season will come and go just as quickly. Summer comes fast for us AV residents, so if you’re looking to have a beautiful spring wedding; you better act FAST!! Technically, the last day of spring is June 21st, but we all know it gets warmer and gives an apparent "summer" feeling before that. So what are some things to do, to implement a spring wedding NOW?
GET THOSE INVITATIONS OUT!
Don’t wait! Send out the invitations and get your guests excited for the spring themed wedding! This is one of the FIRST steps for a spring wedding. Spring “themed” invitations usually have light colors, spring scenery, and beautiful flowers. There are a ton of different wedding invitations motivated by spring, affordable for any budget. Think affordable for your invitations so you can splurge on the wedding décor!
PICK THE PERFECT DRESS!
A lot of the reason spring weddings are so popular is because of the beautiful weather! The weather is not too hot and not too cold. It is the best season to pick a more versatile dress, opposed to restrictions on your dress due to rain, snow, scorching sun, etc. Spring weddings also allow room for adding an elegant touch of color to the wedding dress. You have many colors, and styles to choose from. So think outside the box and have some fun with it! Keep in mind that dark colors absorb the heat BUT help with reflecting rays. If your wedding is indoors, definitely opt for lighter colors!
GOT FLOWERS?
Spring brings tons of savings if you purchase flowers that are in season. Allium, Anemone, Cherry Blossom, Daffodil, Lilac, and Violets are just SOME of the flowers that bloom in springtime. With a wide variety it should be simple to choose the flower that most inspires you and catches your eye.
